Recently, my friend asked me for a list of things she will need to get before her baby is due. While I am helping her with the list, I thought I can write it down and share with more people. If you are reading this post, congratulation~ Happy Mother and Father to be! I have listed the individual item and wrote a short paragraph of my experience for each of them.

Taiwan is a nice place where many people love to travel there. My husband and I have been there for a few times. However, this is our first time traveling with our daughter. One of the places that I didn’t regret going is Lavender Cottage, 薰衣草森林.

During our staycation at Le Meridien, we bring our daughter to the Palawan Pirate Ship. It’s our first time there. Currently they are under maintenance until 27th May 2018.

Our third wedding anniversary is here! My husband suggested a short staycation to celebrate this special day together. The first place that came to my mind was Sentosa. I am quite surprised that in such a small island, there are actually more than 10 hotels! We have been to ONE°15 a few years back when we were still dating. At that time, we preferred a quiet and less crowded place, hence we chosen a hotel at Marina Cove. This time round, with our daughter, we preferred somewhere more accessible, so we decided to go for Le Meridien. It is just a few minutes away from Imbiah Station monorail service, though there is no shelter walkway from the monorail to the hotel.

On this year’s Valentine Day my husband bring me to The Ritz Carlton, Chihuly Lounge for an afternoon high tea. I’m someone who enjoys an afternoon tea session. Which woman doesn’t have extra room for desserts? Pastries along with a cup of coffee or tea are so perfect! This is not our first time visiting The Ritz Carlton but it’s our first time having a tea at Chihuly Lounge. A few years back, we have been to The Greenhouse and we liked it. The overall ambience is nice and pleasing.

When my girl was around the age of 6 months old, occasionally, I will think of where I should host her first ever birthday party. Initially, I was thinking of going for a holiday but we were afraid that our girl might not like the long journey in an airplane. Other factors like the weather and her adaptability also bother us. In the end, we decided to book a chalet at the National Service Resort and Country Club (NSRCC). It’s a good chance to know if our girl was able to get use to unfamiliar place before we plan for an oversea trip.

Regent Singapore is one of my favorite places to go for high tea. I have been here with my husband a few times. They had just reopened from their renovation. Now, it has a contemporary colonial garden setting. Hence, we decided to revisit it on my little girl one-year old birthday.

When you are bringing a baby out, it’s always a mother’s instinct to lookout for a place with a nursing room. After the previous post High Tea at The Courtyard, I will be writing on the nursing room in Fullerton Hotel. As an exclusively breastfeeding mother, a nursing room is really important to me.

Time flies, my little girl is 6 months old and I have reached my 6 months breastfeeding milestone. First target achieved!! I will continue to breastfeed as long as my supply allows me. It’s never an easy journey but I am enjoying it for my loved one.
