High Tea at Chihuly Lounge, The Ritz Carlton

On this year’s Valentine Day my husband bring me to The Ritz Carlton, Chihuly Lounge for an afternoon high tea. I’m someone who enjoys an afternoon tea session. Which woman doesn’t have extra room for desserts? Pastries along with a cup of coffee or tea are so perfect! This is not our first time visiting The Ritz Carlton but it’s our first time having a tea at Chihuly Lounge. A few years back, we have been to The Greenhouse and we liked it. The overall ambience is nice and pleasing.

High tea at Tea Lounge, Regent Singapore

Regent Singapore is one of my favorite places to go for high tea. I have been here with my husband a few times. They had just reopened from their renovation. Now, it has a contemporary colonial garden setting. Hence, we decided to revisit it on my little girl one-year old birthday.

High Tea at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Axis Bar and Lounge

I am at Mandarin Oriental Hotel again! Here, I have a lot of beautiful and precious memories. Axis Bar and Lounge is my first dating place. My husband was still my boyfriend back then and now we are married and have a little baby girl. It is one of our favorite places to visit for an afternoon high tea.

3D2N Staycation at Marina Bay Sands

This is our second time staying in Marina Bay Sands (MBS). Since it’s my birthday month, my husband specially arranged for a staycation of 3 days 2 nights to celebrate. MBS has a spectacular view of the Singapore city skyline and the Gardens by the Bay. Our skyline has a lot of skyscrapers, as well as the Esplanade. This time round, we requested for a city view. Anyone visiting MBS will definitely visit the Sky Park at 57 floors to take the following amazing panorama. For hotel guest, it is free entry. We did not take any photos of the infinity pool because it is always so crowded. Luckily, the weather is very forgiving therefore we are able to stay up there for quite some time.

High Tea at The Rose Veranda, Shangri-La

One of the pastimes I enjoy the most is to try different type of cakes and tea. (It is not recommended to take too much caffeine during pregnancy, 1 cup is the limit. I use to take 4 cups a day before pregnant). Anyway, back to The Rose Veranda. It is in the 2nd level of Shangri-La hotel. The hotel is located near Orchard. It is better to visit by car or cab. They do provide shuttle bus services at fixed timing to various pick up points in Orchard. I took a cab there though. After climbing a flight of winding stairs to level 2, you will see the restaurant as below. It has a very old-school feel to it!
